A Boar lariat is used to capture a boar that has been stopped with a Snare for dangerous animals. The lariat must be used immediately after the snare as the boar will break free in about 3 seconds. If the capture is successful, you will receive a Wild boar in your inventory. Success depends on your Animal taming skill and the lariat quality.

Note: The Boar lariat will not be used up unless it wears out.
